Osborne impressed during a disappointing month for Oxford
Midfielder Levi Reid and defender Karleigh Osborne have both left Blue Square Premier strugglers Oxford.
Reid, 25, who was on a monthly contract, has an ill baby and will play part-time in the Stafford area.
Osborne, 20, impressed on loan from Brentford but the Bees did not want to extend his spell at the Kassam Stadium.
U's boss Darren Patterson told the club website: "Karleigh has done ever so well for us, but Brentford wanted him back and I'm gutted."
He added: "Levi is a smashing lad but he's been worried about his baby. I believe he has been offered permanent work and he wants to carry on playing part-time closer to home so he leaves with our blessing."
Reid, who played for Macclesfield last season, scored two goals in 10 games for the U's.
Osborne played six games in his month at the Kassam Stadium following his transfer deadline day switch.
