Patterson feels he needs to bring in more players

Oxford United manager Darren Patterson has said he is still looking to strengthen his squad.

Following their 1-0 home defeat to Weymouth on Tuesday the U's boss said although fresh faces are needed he will not be making any panic buys.

"It's a must now but I don't want to be one of those who dives in just for the sake of it, we'll be as patient as we can," Patterson told BBC Oxford.

The U's are next in action against Eastbourne Borough on 16 August.
