Oldham defender Kelvin Lomax has returned to the club after suffering an injury while on loan at Chesterfield.
The 24-year-old damaged ankle ligaments during the Spireites' 2-1 home defeat by Oxford United in November.
Lomax was on a three-month loan deal at the B2net Stadium along with Deane Smalley and had made five appearances for the League Two club.
The full-back will now be assessed by the Latics before a decision is made about whether he can return.
