Oldham right-back Kelvin Lomax has signed a new deal to keep him at Boundary Park until the summer of 2008. Lomax, 20, was released by former Latics boss Ronnie Moore at the end of last season but new manager John Sheridan re-signed him in the summer.
Initially on non-contract terms, Lomax signed a three-month deal in August which was extended again in November.
Sheridan told Oldham's website: "Kelvin has done very well. He's an intelligent footballer - the kind I like."
