Oldham Athletic defender Reuben Hazell has said he is enjoying life as captain at Boundary Park under Paul Dickov.
The 31-year-old was appointed vice-captain at the start of the season but has since been promoted to captain following Sean Gregan's departure.
He told BBC Radio Manchester: "There is a lot of responsibility but I love it.
"I feel there's more responsibility on me when the team doesn't perform. I know it's 11 players but I take it personally now since being captain."
The former Astron Villa trainee joined the club in September 2007 from Chesterfield and has also had spells at Tranmere, Torquay and Kidderminster.

He added: "Being one of the senior boys here it's one of them things to try and get the gaffer's word across when I'm on the pitch.
"It's about doing the right things and being mentally switched on but we're a young side and we're learning."
