Oldham boss John Sheridan has strengthened his squad with the capture of left-sided defender Reuben Hazell. The 28-year-old, who was a free agent after leaving Chesterfield at the end of last season, has signed an initial one-month deal at Boundary Park.
Hazell spent two seasons at Chesterfield and made 80 appearances for the club.
Prior to that, the defender had spells with Tranmere and Torquay after starting his career at Aston Villa.
