Notts County keeper Kasper Schmeichel says he will always have fond memories of his time at Meadow Lane.
Schmeichel is leaving at the end of the season after a deal was agreed to end his five-year contract after 12 months.
The Dane led the celebrations when the title was presented after Saturday's stylish 5-0 win over Cheltenham.
And he told BBC East Midlands Today: "It's fantastic. I love the club - it's been good to me. It will always be a special part of me."
Schmeichel added: "It's been a crazy season but we've come out of it.
"With the players we have here and the mentality and spirit we have, we just needed a little bit consistency and that's when Steve Cotterill came in. He gave us that and we've reaped the rewards."
