Nottingham Rugby have made their first signing for next season with the capture of Rotherham prop Ben Prescott. The 31-year-old front row, who has agreed a one-year deal, said: "I think this is a step forward for my career. "I am hoping to get the chance to play Premiership rugby and hopefully Nottingham will help me do that. "There is a good set-up at Nottingham and Glenn Delaney is a great coach. I came down to look at the facilities and am looking forward to it." Delaney has been targeting the front row forward for the past couple of years and is delighted to have finally secured his services. He said: "Ben has been a stand-out performer at Rotherham for the last two seasons and was with Glasgow before that. "I have been after him for a while now and I think he will be a great addition to the squad for next season."
