Notts County defender Adam Tann is on the verge of a first-team comeback after being sidelined with a knee injury since October.

The 26-year-old has been in full training for several weeks and has been on the bench for the past few matches.

Midfielder Gavin Strachan resumed training on Thursday after picking up a hamstring injury against Exeter.

The 30-year-old is unlikely to figure in Ian McParland's squad on Saturday but could make his return next week.

Midfielder Richard Butcher is also expected to return to training next week after two months out with a fractured metatarsal.
