Norwich City captain Mark Fotheringham has said his team-mates need to be brave in their fight against relegation from the Championship.
City's defeat at Preston on Saturday has left them just two points and two places above the drop-zone.
He told BBC Radio Norfolk: "It takes brave men, it takes men who're willing to go out and fight for the jersey.
"It's unfortunate we are in the position we are, we've had a very up-and-down season."
After fighting their way to safety from rock-bottom last season, Fotheringham said the squad are well prepared for the battle.
"We need to continue to work hard for each other, be brave and show confidence in each other and keep believing we can get ourselves out of the situation we're in.
"We'll concentrate on getting a few wins and getting the belief back, cause we were on not a bad little run," he added.
