Northampton Town assistant manager Malcolm Crosby has admitted that finding 'leaders' is proving tough as the Cobblers' poor form continues.

Northampton have lost their last four league matches and hover just above the relegation zone.

"To bring in an experienced leader is nigh on impossible in League Two," Crosby told BBC Radio Northampton.

"We've been trying to get a centre back. If you bring them in they can maybe talk but they can't run."

The former Sunderland boss added: "Finding leaders is very difficult in today's game and our club are no different."

Northampton are away 14th placed Oxford on Saturday.
