Power began his career as a trainee at Nottingham Forest
Rushden & Diamonds midfielder Alan Power says that team spirit is a major factor in his side's recent good form in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Saturday's 2-1 win over Tamworth extended Diamonds' unbeaten run to five games, a run that has seem them climb to sixth in the table.
Power, who scored the winner at The Lamb told BBC Radio Northampton: "We're becoming more resilient now.
"The team spirit is growing and we're getting stronger every game."
The 22-year-old, who joined Rushden from Hartlepool in June, added: "We're starting to pick up points in games where we maybe drop a goal. I think we deserved to win (at Tamworth) and it showed the desire in the side.
"I'm happy to be in this team. I was left out a couple of games ago but I'm back in now and want to keep the shirt."
Rushden travel to Northamptonshire rivals Kettering Town in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup this Saturday.
