Tamworth 1-2 Rushden & D'mnds

Midfielder Alan Power was Rushden & Diamonds' hero with a last-minute winner that downed Tamworth.

Rene Howe handed the visitors the lead after 10 minutes when he fired in left-footed into the bottom corner.

The hosts hit back almost immediately through Kyle Perry's sweet strike from 12 yards out.

The match looked set for a draw until Power's fierce strike from the edge of the area condemned Lambs caretaker boss Des Lyttle to defeat in his first game.
