Gray is going nowhere - Cardoza

Cobblers chairman David Cardoza says Stuart Gray has his full support

Northampton Town chairman David Cardoza says manager Stuart Gray is staying at the club, regardless of whether or not Northampton are relegated.

The Cobblers beat Leyton Orient 3-1 on Saturday to take them within a point of getting out of the relegation zone.

Cardoza told BBC Radio Northampton: "The manager is here and he's on a contract, and I don't see him going anywhere."

Northampton face Scunthorpe on Tuesday, the first of three straight home games.

And a mere point would be enough to sneak out of the drop zone ahead of Crewe.
