Gray will not quit Cobblers post

Northampton Town manager Stuart Gray says he has no intention of leaving his post at Sixfields.

The Cobblers are 21st in League One and three points from safety after a run of five games without a win.

Gray told BBC Radio Northamptonshire: "The be-all and end-all is that I've got a contract here until 2010."

"If the chairman wants to make a decision about my future its up to him, but at the moment I am 100% committed to turning things around."

Gray, who has been Cobblers boss since January 2007, admits his side's league position means there is growing pressure on his side and he feels some of his players are letting this affect them.

He explained: "There is pressure on us, there is pressure for us to stay in this division - and sometimes certain lads react differently to pressure and mistakes creep into their game."

The Cobblers travel to Leyton Orient on Saturday before three consecutive home games against Scunthorpe, Hereford and MK Dons.
