Northampton Town manager Stuart Gray was left frustrated again as his team lost 1-0 at Yeovil on Tuesday to slip into the League One relegation zone.
The Cobblers replace Yeovil in the bottom four after Jon Obika's second-half strike at Huish Park.
"We've gone to some of the big clubs this season and got results," Gray told BBC Radio Northampton.
"But if you keep giving away the ball as cheaply as we do, then you will get punished for it," he added.
"You have to go to the teams around you and make sure you don't get beaten.
"We should have come away from here with at least a point."
Northampton have seven matches left as they bid to avoid the drop, but do not play again until their trip to Bristol Rovers on 10 April.
