Northampton Town manager Stuart Gray insisted a point was better than nothing after Saturday's 1-1 draw at fellow League One strugglers Carlisle.
The Cobblers are clear of the drop zone only on goal difference, ahead of Tuesday's vital trip to Yeovil Town - the team immediately below them.
"We can't undervalue that point," Gray told BBC Radio Northampton.
"It's just disappointing that the (4-3) defeat against Swindon last week has rocked us a bit."
"Getting a draw at Carlisle just claws us back a little, and we do have a couple of games in hand.
"But those games are only an advantage if we turn them into positive results."
Northampton are level with Yeovil on points and matches played, heading into the final month of the campaign.
