Northampton Town manager Stuart Gray attacked his team's 'sloppy' performance at the back following Tuesday's 4-3 defeat against Swindon.
The Cobblers went ahead inside two minutes at Sixfields, but then leaked three goals before half-time.
"We were just so, so sloppy in the way we defended," a disappointed Gray told BBC Radio Northampton.
"The really disappointing thing is the way the goals were conceded. It was poor all round."
The result leaves Northampton just one place and two points above the League One relegation zone, with nine matches left in the season.
Gray added: "We got our noses in front with a bright start.
"But then we didn't take any pressure off by playing the game in their half."
