Norwich City midfielder Stephen Hughes has joined League One side MK Dons on loan until 13 March.
The 28-year-old has made two appearances for City this season, with his last game coming as a substitute in September's 3-1 defeat by Doncaster.
He has played a total of 22 minutes of competitive football this season.
Hughes arrived at Norwich from Motherwell 19 months ago but a series of injuries has restricted him to 12 league starts for the Canaries.
The former Leicester and Rangers man underwent surgery on a persistent ankle injury in October and has not played since.
