Alexander's men have conceded nine league goals this season
Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander has ignored the boo-boys after losing 3-1 at home to Rotherham.
The Cheshire club have garnered just five points from their opening five League Two matches.
He told BBC Radio Manchester: "People just come to boo, don't they. For some people, it doesn't matter if you win 4-0 - they'd still be booing.
"That's the nature of the game these days. If you're not prepared to take that you shouldn't be in the job."
"Having said that, it's nice to have a week off this week. We can all settle down and think about the game at the weekend and look to put it right at Crewe next week," he added.
