A late goal from defender Dave Artell earned Morecambe a point as Macclesfield had a goal disallowed.
Artell headed home Laurence Wilson's right-wing corner but Macclesfield were then denied victory when Ben Wright's injury-time goal was ruled out.
Matthew Tipton put Macclesfield 1-0 up from the penalty spot but Michael Twiss levelled with a delightful curler.
Ross Draper put the Silkmen back in front but their hopes of victory were dashed by Artell's late equaliser.
