Lincoln City boss Tilson rules out Josh Gowling return
Gowling made his Lincoln City debut in their 2-0 defeat by Northampton
Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says he is not looking to bring Gillingham defender Josh Gowling back for a second loan spell at Sincil Bank.
Gowling, 27, impressed during a month's loan in November, making six appearances for the Imps.
Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "They've won their last two games and he played in both so I don't think there's any chance of him coming back here.
"At the moment he's playing well for them so we've got to rule him out."
Tilson added that Danny Hone would be returning to the Imps after the expiry of his loan at Blue Square Bet Premier side Darlington, but stressed that an experienced central defender would be his main target during the January transfer window as Lincoln look to climb away from the lower reaches of League Two.
"He will be coming back. He does give me another option but it won't stop me trying to get another one in," he said.
"We haven't got enough leaders out there which is probably why we're where we are but ideally I'd like to bring in another experienced one."
