Lincoln not a dirty team - Pulis

Lincoln City

Lincoln City midfielder Anthony Pulis believes the Imps do not deserve to have the worst disciplinary record in League Two this season.

City have so far received 35 yellow cards and have had Eric Lichaj, Aaron Brown and Ian Pearce sent off in their last two league games.

Pulis told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I don't think we're a dirty side at all.

"Eric was sent off at Morecambe for lashing out but I felt the other sendings-off were poor decisions."

Manager Chris Sutton faces a Football Association charge of improper conduct after being sent to the stands in the game against Cheltenham at Sincil Bank which also saw the Robins' Barry Richardson red-carded in addition to Brown and Pearce.

On Saturday, Lincoln host local rivals Grimsby Town, who have the second worst disciplinary record in the division with 27 cautions and six dismissals.
