Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson will offer Romanian striker Adrian Patulea a new deal by the end of the year if he maintains his current form.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals in six games since receiving international clearance in September.
Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I told Adi that if he's still in the side and scoring goals by Christmas he'll be rewarded with a new contract.
"He's on track to get it but he has to keep scoring on a regular basis."
Patulea joined the Imps from Romanian side Petrolul Ploesti on a one-year deal after impressing on trial over the summer.
