Gainsborough Trinity ended a run of three defeats with a 4-1 win at Alfreton Town in Blue Square North.
The home side led at the break through Martin McIntosh, but had Matt Wilson sent off early in the second half.
Striker Simon Bird scored three goals in 10 minutes and midfielder Adam Smith made it 4-1 after Alfreton's Chris Bowler was dismissed.
Trinity manager Steve Charles told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We needed a result and hopefully we're back on track now."
