Clancy and Koudou have joined Skora (centre) in signing on |
Gordon Greer has left Kilmarnock to find a new club in England, but manager Jim Jefferies has secured four others on new contracts. Greer, who has been linked with Oldham Athletic, is moving south to wed his English girlfriend.
But fellow defenders Tim Clancy, Simon Ford and Grant Murray have been handed new deals by the SPL club along with striker Aime Koudou.
Ford has been given until the end of 2007 to prove his fitness.
The 25-year-old is recovering from a knee injury picked up in April.
Clancy has signed a one-year professional contract, with the option of a further year depending on appearances, after joining Killie as an amateur following the closure of the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old former Republic of Ireland Under-19 right-back began his career with Millwall before spells with Walton & Hersham, Weymouth and Fisher Athletic.
He has yet to appear for the Killie first team but has impressed Jefferies during his spell at Rugby Park.
Murray and Koudou have also secured similar deals.
Koudou, a 30-year-old from the Ivory Coast, had ended a short spell with Airdrie United to sign for Kilmarnock in February.
And he did enough in five appearances at the end of the season to win himself a longer contract.
Murray was given a surprise chance to resurrect his Scottish Premier League career when signed last summer after a couple of seasons in the lower divisions with Partick Thistle.
But the 31-year-old made 30 appearances for Jefferies to win himself an extended stay.
Jefferies had been expecting the departure of Greer, who began his career with Clyde.
The 26-year-old had been a regular starter with Kilmarnock since his arrival from Blackburn Rovers in 2003.
