Blue Square Premier side Kidderminster Harriers have re-signed defender Marcus Bignot on non-contract terms until the end of the season.
Bignot, 35, played 56 games in his first spell with Harriers before being sold to Crewe for £100,000 in 1997.
Manager Steve Burr told the club's official website: "Marcus obviously knows a lot about this club and it is great for us to have him on board.
"His experience will add to what we have in the dressing room."
Burr added: "With the current situation as it is, it was sensible for us to try and bring in some defensive cover, especially for the full-backs, and Marcus will more than give us that."
After playing more than 100 games for Crewe, Bignot went on to play for Bristol Rovers, QPR, Rushden & Diamonds and Millwall.
He left The New Den on transfer deadline day in August and signed for Oldham but had his contract at Boundary Park cancelled by mutual consent in February.
Bignot also has coaching experience with Birmingham City Ladies and Arsenal Ladies.
