Kidderminster Harriers chairman Barry Norgrove says the club will be announcing new signings in the next week that will excite the fans.
Harriers only offered contracts to four players this summer, and are waiting until 1 July for new signings.
"Mark (Yates) has players ready to sign and we will then try and get the ones we have been talking to signed up," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
Harriers released seven players in May, including number one Adam Bartlett.
Norgrove continued: "We have a board meeting this week, which will discuss our finances, and then the players are back training next week.
"We have been down to three or four players that are on contract and we have paid them through May and June.
"We haven't had to pay the players who were released and that has made a big difference to our costs since the end of the season.
"We took some stick for releasing so many players, but the manager would have got rid of some of them anyway."
