Ex-Walsall keeper Coleman has played eight league games for Kidderminster
Kidderminster Harriers goalkeeper Dean Coleman has signed a new one-year deal.
The 23-year-old, who joined the club in the summer of 2007, looks set to be Harriers' first choice after Adam Bartlett left to join Hereford United.
Harriers assistant manger Neil Howarth told the clubs website: "Dean has been extremely patient waiting for his chance over the last couple of seasons.
"It's safe to say he wasn't prepared to stay on strictly to be an understudy for next season."
Howarth added: "There were clubs prepared to offer him the number one shirt and if he plays like we know he can then there's no reason why he couldn't make that his own here."
Harriers are also close to appointing a new team physiotherapist after Peter Dugmore left his post at the club to take up a position with the RAF.
