Kettering Town bring in Jon Challinor and Mark Halstead
Challinor was sold by Rushden to Cambridge Utd for �15,000 in 2008
Kettering Town have signed midfielder Jon Challinor until the end of the season and Blackpool goalkeeper Mark Halstead on loan for a month.
Challinor, 30, has played for Rushden & Diamonds, Aldershot, Exeter, Cambridge Utd, Mansfield and Newport County in his career to date.
Halstead, aged 20, has previously been on loan at Hyde United and Barrow.
Both players will be available for the Blue Square Bet Premier match against Grimsby Town.
Challinor scored 21 goals in 78 appearances for the Shots, and added 22 goals in 87 starts for Exeter. He also had spells at Forest Green Rovers and Brackley Town.
