Kettering Town re-sign Iyseden Christie from Tamworth
Christie scored six goals for the Lambs in the Blue Square Premier
Kettering Town have re-signed veteran Tamworth striker Iyseden Christie on a one-year deal.
The 33-year-old joined the Poppies on loan from Stevenage in 2009 and scored six goals in 24 appearances.
"I am delighted to be a Kettering Town player again and I can't wait to get pre-season started," Christie said.
"It was nice playing close to home with Tamworth last season but when Kettering showed some interest in me, I knew that it was the right move for me."
Poppies manager Lee Harper is confident that Christie will bolster their attack.
He said: "He is a proven goalscorer at this level, and he will be one of four strikers we will need in order to compete for Blue Square Premier success.
"He has a point to prove this season and we believe he still has the hunger to help us win games."
