Lee Daggett took his best figures in one-day cricket as Northants thrashed the Netherlands to claim their first CB 40 win of the season at Wantage Road.

David Sales (62) and Rob White (51) were the main contributors to Northants' 238-7 in their 119-run win.

Daggett then ripped through the Dutch top order with figures of 4-17 as the visitors slumped to 32-6.

The Netherlands, who pulled off a shock win over Derbyshire on Sunday, were eventually bowled out for 119.

Northants head coach David Capel told BBC Radio Northampton:

"There were some key performances and we will have gained a lot of confidence from this.

"To see our batsmen play with that freedom and enjoyment was pleasing and encouraging for me.

"I thought Nicky Boje also bowled beautifully and it was generally a good performance all round."
