Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane has admitted he would like to extend Jack Colback's loan spell at Portman Road.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who moved to Suffolk in August, is due back at his parent club Sunderland in January.

Keane told BBC Suffolk: "We've been delighted with Jack, he's done really well and his attitude is spot on.

"We have to be respectful as he's under contract and it might be a shorter-term deal in terms of month to month, but it's up to Sunderland really."

Keane has already discussed the situation with Sunderland manager Steve Bruce and plans to speak to him again over the next few days.
