Colback has represented England at Under-20 level

Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback says he would be interested in extending his loan spell at Ipswich Town.

The 20-year-old, whose spell at Portman Road ends in January, has scored twice in 12 league appearances since arriving at the club in August.

Colback told the club's website: "I feel I have improved as a player in my time here and playing first-team football is what I want.

"If there's an opportunity for that to continue then I'd like to take it."
