Healy has been capped 13 times by the Republic of Ireland
Ipswich have signed Cork City midfielder Colin Healy on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Hartlepool had also had a bid accepted for the 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international but he has decided to link up with fellow Corkman Roy Keane.
Healy has previously played in Britain for Celtic, Coventry, Sunderland, Barnsley and Bradford.
He had previously had a trial at Portman Road in 2006, under the management of Jim Magilton.
