Barnsley have completed the signing of Republic of Ireland international Colin Healy on a one-year deal. The 26-year-old midfielder had recently been on trial at Oakwell and impressed enough to land a permanant deal.
Healy has previously played for Celtic, Coventry and Sunderland although he finshed last season with Livingston.
He has won 12 international caps for Eire, and the Tykes hope they will get international clearance in time for him to play at Colchester on Saturday.
