Magilton has brought in four new players during the close season
Ipswich Town's summer transfer activity may not be over yet, according to manager Jim Magilton.
Magilton, who has brought in four players already this summer, revealed he has made more enquiries and is ready to further strengthen his squad.
Magilton said: "The phone is getting busier now and I expected it to be so.
"I think managers have had a look at their squads and are figuring who is going to be involved and who is not. We have got a few irons in the fire."
Magilton has signed four players during the close season including ex-Colchester United striker Kevin Lisbie and former Town goalkeeper Richard Wright.
Defender Ben Thatcher is still mulling over an offer from Ipswich after spending a week on trial during the club's pre-season tour in Northern Ireland.
