Striker Danny Haynes struck a brace as Ipswich cantered past Leyton Orient in the Carling Cup at Portman Road.
Danny Granville had a header cleared off the line for the visitors before Haynes outpaced Orient defender Brian Saah and smashed in a near-post shot.
Tommy Miller drove home from the edge of the box to make it 2-0 and Haynes converted Alan Lee's cross to seal it.
Lee flicked home an Quinn left-wing cross before Adam Boyd chipped in a brilliant consolation from 25 yards.
