Fallon is not giving up hope of automatic promotion
Histon boss Steve Fallon has urged his side to focus on catching leaders Burton rather than worrying about teams below them in the Blue Square Premier.
The Stutes go to Kettering on Saturday sitting second, 13 points off Albion.
Fallon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We have to aim to catch Burton because it will give us the best chance of staying in the play-offs.
"A couple of results went for us last week, but we're a long, long way off securing a play-off place."
Histon are well placed ahead of the end of season run-in, 10 points ahead of Wrexham in sixth.
Monday's 1-1 draw at home to local rivals Cambridge United means they are six matches unbeaten in the league.
Kettering are also in good form having not lost in five, Fallon knows his side are in for a tough afternoon.
"Kettering are in terrific form at the moment, they had a good FA Cup run and they're very, very difficult to beat," he said.
"They're not dissimilar to ourselves in the way they play, in Exodus Geohaghon they have a lad who can throw it into the box from virtually anywhere."
Nat Knight-Percival has shaken off a knock and is available for the Stutes, whilst Mat Mitchel-King has suffered no negative reaction after returning from a back injury.
