Aaron McLean's second-half strike kept Peterborough on course for automatic promotion as they beat Bristol Rovers.
The striker reacted quickest with 70 minutes gone when a blocked shot arrived at his feet and he buried a low drive past Steve Phillips.
Posh had created the better chances in the first half with Phillips twice denying Craig Mackail-Smith.
Rickie Lambert had a good chance to equalise, but his header from Stuart Campbell's free-kick was glanced wide.
Bristol Rovers: Phillips, Lescott, Anthony, Elliott, Jacobson, Pipe, Lines (Campbell 66), Disley, Hughes (Rigg 83), Lambert, Duffy (Kuffour 66). Subs Not Used: St Louis-Hamilton, Hinton.
