Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson has said he is happy his team have to face promotion-chasing sides in the run-up to the end of the season.
Saturday's trip to Bristol Rovers is followed by games against leaders Leicester and play-off chasing Oldham.
Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "They're games with an edge to them and I think you need that at this stage of the season.
"I'd rather play the Leicesters and Oldhams, games that mean something."
Last time Posh met Bristol Rovers earlier in the season at London Road it finished 5-4.
But Ferguson does not expect a repeat of that scoreline on Saturday.

"I'd probably have a heart attack if there was another 5-4, but we'd take any win at the moment," he said.
"We want to play nice football but all you need is wins, it doesn't matter how you do it."
Posh are still waiting on defender Craig Morgan ahead of the Rovers game following his toe injury.
Morgan has spent the past two months on the sidelines but could come back into the side in place of the suspended Gabby Zakuani.
"He did fine for half-an-hour but then he felt it a bit and we told him to come off," he said.
"We'll assess him on Friday and if there's no reaction then he will be in the squad."
Meanwhile Lee Fecklington is still a week away from being ready for selection following a hamstring problem.
