No rush for new Hereford United boss - Graham Turner
Turner has one win in thee games since taking over the Hereford team
Hereford United chairman Graham Turner has said that he will not be rushed into appointing a new manager.
Turner, who took over the team again after sacking John Trewick on 8 March, has said that he will not take the job on a full time basis.
But he told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "We have a lot of good applications, a lot of good people,"
"I'll take stock of the situation. then decide. No decision's been made on how we're going in a number of areas."
Turner added: "I can't envisage at all, in any way, shape or form, me being manager of Hereford United next season.
"There's a right cross-section of people out there with some experience.
"There are coaches and managers looking for work. There are some young people who have just taken their qualifications.
"I know the scramble that takes place when there is a vacancy and it will take some time to sift through all those.
"In the meantime I'll continue to pick the team, take the training and work to change results around."
After losing both his first two games back at the helm, Hereford beat Bradford City 2-0 at home on Saturday to record a first win for Turner's side, moving them 10 points clear of the League Two drop zone.
