Hereford United have completed the signing of Forest Green Rovers defender Darren Jones.
The 25-year-old moves to Edgar Street on a free transfer after his contract with the Gloucestershire club came to an end.
"He's a very resilient player, strong and powerful, who will give us flexibility," Hereford boss John Trewick told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
Jones has previously had spells with Bristol City and Newport County.
Meanwhile, the Bulls manager said he remains open regarding the futures of defender Kris Taylor and midfielder Ben Smith.
Taylor, 25, is still yet to take up the offer of a new contract while Smith has not yet been offered a new deal for next season.
"I've left the door open with Ben, as I have with Kris," said Trewick.
"I've told them any time they want to come and sit down and talk to me, then they're quite welcome to do so."
Trewick said he still wants to sign a number of players on permanent deals but has not ruled out bringing in players on loan for the season
"As far as I'm concerned, the earlier the better, but I would like the whole squad to be assembled and ready to go by early July.
"I wouldn't mind carrying perhaps two for a season-long loan but certainly, I don't want to go down the road of having six or seven if I can help it," he added.
