McEvilly was one of nine players to join Grays in a day, along with Rigoglioso

Grays Athletic strikers Lee McEvilly and Adriano Rigoglioso are set for long spells on the sidelines through injury.

Rigoglioso's future at the club looks over as a knee injury has ruled him for the rest of the season after making just four starts.

Athletic are negotiating a settlement to terminate his contract.

McEvilly, 27, has yet to play for the Blue Square Premier side with a shin injury and is now expected to be out until the new year.

Meanwhile, defender Anwar Uddin's loan spell from Dagenham & Redbridge has been extended until the end of October.

Lee Butcher and Sam Gaughran's loan spells have ended this week and they have returned to parent clubs Spurs and Peterborough respectively.
