Beckwith ended his time with Barnet in January

Grays Athletic have tempted former Barnet keeper Rob Beckwith out of his short-lived retirement.

The 24-year-old, who retired last month after Barnet offered him out on loan, has joined on a non-contract basis.

The ex-Luton man made 17 appearances for the Bees after joining from Chesterfield in the summer of 2007.

He will fight for a place in the Grays starting line-up with Steven Arnold, following the recent departures of both Ross Flitney and Simon Overland.
