Gillingham have signed long-term target Charlton Athletic striker Chris Dickson on a three-month loan deal.
It is the 25-year-old's second spell at Priestfield, having scored 11 goals in 14 appearances for the Gills during the the 2007/08 season.
Gills boss Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent: "We're very pleased to get him. He's got more goals for us than anywhere else, our fans love him."
Dickson has also had loan spells at Crewe Alexandra and Bristol Rovers.
Coincidentally, the Charlton forward is likely to make his second home debut for Gillingham at home to Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Mark Stimson now has seven first-team strikers to choose from at the club.
"It's great to have options, it means I can start two and let them give everything. Then we can put two, or even three, on from the bench," he said.
The Gills boss revealed that Dickson had made a good start for the club in his first training session.
"He's not lost the knack of scoring goals, he put the ball in the net a couple of times from good positions."
