Royce has kept Julian out of the side since their defeat at Hartlepool

Gillingham say they are yet to receive any interest in goalkeeper Alan Julian, who has asked for a transfer.

The 26-year-old, who joined from Stevenage in 2008 to provide competition for Simon Royce, has not played since August.

"I haven't had a phone call," manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent. "He's been on the loan circuit for four to six weeks and I haven't had a call.

"You don't just say I'm on the transfer list and six teams come in for you."

Stimson added: "You have to be able to deal with where you're going to go.

"You have to be good in your position and there need to be people who want you."
