Charlton midfielder Josh Wright, 19, has joined Gillingham on loan until the end of the season.
Wright, who has made three first-team appearances for Charlton this season, impressed Gills boss Mark Stimson in a reserves game between the clubs.
Full-back Rene Steer has extended his loan move from Arsenal by a month.
The 19-year-old moved to Priestfield in the January transfer window to provide competition for John Nutter at left-back and has made five appearances.
