Forest Green Rovers face battle to keep Andy Mangan
Mangan was the Blue Square Premier's top scorer in 2008-09 with 26 goals
Forest Green chairman Trevor Horsley admits they may sell Andy Mangan during January's transfer window.
The 23-year-old striker completes a five-month ban on 21 December for match betting before he joined Rovers.
Horsley told BBC Gloucestershire: "The last thing I want is Andy to move on, but I respect every player here.
"If they want to move on to better themselves, we won't step in their way. If somebody comes in and wants to talk to us about Andy, then we'll talk."
Mangan was offered a new contract at the end of last season but is attracting interest from a host of other clubs.
And with Rovers currently languishing in the relegation zone of the Blue Square Premier and facing an away trip to Notts County in the third round of the FA Cup on 3 January, Horsley is keen to get last season's Blue Square Premier top scorer back in action and match-fit as soon as possible.
We'd love to get him back for Notts County, with his speed and awareness we might be able to nick a result there

"We arranged a County Cup game next Tuesday for that, hopefully we may get him back for 20 minutes of it," he said.
