Tindall is unlikely to return to the Gloucester side until the new year |
Gloucester and England centre Mike Tindall says the club have got to believe they can still progress in the Heineken Cup despite losing to Glasgow. The Cherry and Whites have lost two of their three matches leaving them bottom of their group on four points. Biarritz are top of the pool on 14 points with three matches left. "The worst thing you can do is give up and then Biarritz lose at Newport and Glasgow and you could have been back in it," Tindall told BBC Gloucestershire. "We definitely have to win every game now and hope results go our way but there's always that ray of hope until it's over." Tindall is currently out of action with his second torn hamstring of the season. The 31-year-old first suffered the injury in the game against Leeds on 4 October but lasted only 15 minutes of his comeback against Sale four weeks later. "It's a bit frustrating for me at the moment," he said. "I'm one of those guys who doesn't like watching rugby when I'm injured. "You just want to be out there with the boys and feel like you can contribute in some way so hopefully the injury will come right in the end."
